i am going out for 8th grade wrestling and my folks don't want me to be scared for life with dieses like my older brother

wear a protection cup and wear gloves whenever you wrestle and wash your hands that can help prevent diseases. and keep your immune system up which also can help prevent diseases.

good! i am on the wrestling team in school too. the best way to prevent it is to tell your coach to not let people wear their wrestling shoes from outside, bathrooms, etc. directly to the mat. also drink vitamins and orange juice to keep you from getting that many diseases. there is not any way to be 100% that you wont get any diseases..

Almost all pro wrestlers test themselves on a regular basis, there are no sports related injuries that involve a blood related illness like aids or hepatitis most are from bone or mussle damage that happen over time.

Honestly, it's a risk you can't prevent. You may get another person's blood on you. It's a part of the sport and if you can't handle it, you don't need to be wrestling.
