if so then why i mean what the hell is wrong with those people, they dont let skinny girls model then why let obese girl model i mean they self contradict them selves. they say that skinny models encourage eating disorders, well being obese is unheathy too, to me id rather be scary skinny than "i can hardly move" obese. if they wanted to make a fair point they should ban both.

This low BMI ban was in Madrid only. It does not affect the major fashion cities of New York, Paris or Milan.
Thin models are used because clothes hang better on them. This will never change.
Also, BMI is not a fair tool to judge the healthy weight of a 6' female. I am 6' and have a low BMI, however I am athletic and healthy. This ban will not catch on and will not have any affect on the overall industry.

They don't let girls with a BMI of under 18 model in Spain. You do have a point, but remember plus size models don't encourage eating disorders like underweight models do. HTH.

i think that that is just in europe. because if you look at some of the us models, you know they weigh less than 110. but if they want to do it correctly they should go by BMI, not just the weight. I'm really short, so i am less than 110.

They should be that doesn't look good they look like war orphans.
Women should work out and weigh about 130 probably.
There is this tall girl, in college that weighs 160 and she is skinny.
there tall most models. I never thought that skinny looks good.

no they shouldnt, cos its an excellent sort of ladies folk' desires to be vogue fashions and no one needs 2 wait till there over sixteen!!! theres an excellent sort of vogue fashions who're young infants who're healthful looking, relatively lovable little issues so no i dont think of they must be banned. yet whilst theyre too skinny (like heavily underweight) they shouldnt be allowed to be vogue fashions, and that is going for ALL fashions, under or over sixteen.
