gophers how to get rid of them ?

bought gopher buzzers that go in the ground dont seem too effective

Buy some Wrigleys Juicy Fruit Gum, and put it down the holes. I'm not kidding you. The gophers love the stuff, but it clogs up their insides and they die of massive indigestion. No poison, no mess.

You should go to your local beauty parlor and ask for some of the hair that they usually throw away. Put this hair in the gopher hole. For some reason they do not like human hair. There was another step to safe gopher control but thats all I could remember.

We had moles and gophers that were tunneling through our lawn. We were told to buy spinners and insert them every few feet around the yard. These spinners can be bought at any garden center. I know you have seen them. The have sections of plastic, colored, that spin in the wind and sit atop a metal stick. Kids play with the smaller ones on wood.
They look nice and spin in the wind or breeze.
Why do they work? We were told that the spinning above ground causes a vibration on the metal pole inserted below ground and the moles and gophers dont like it so they move to your neighbors house.
It worked for us and they only cost $3-$5 each.

The only way to rid yourself of gophers, is to eliminate them one or more at a time. "Traps" It's the way ditch riders eliminate them, when they burrow into above ground, earthened, water canal banks.

This will sound really gross but is affective ....my hubby did it....take an empty milk carton ....collect a man's urine in it when you have enough sprinkle it bordering your property and I'll bet the racoons even run away ...don't worry it dries and no one but you know it's there.

tobacco sauce works well just put in the ground they dont like the smell
