If you are that close with your friend and she/he doesnt mind, ask them to help you.

Lay on your left side in a loose fetal position. You may want to do this close to the toilet as you will need to "go" as soon as you stand up. May hurt a small amount to nothing at all, but nothing you can't handle.

The first two advisers are correct, though I suggest you lay in the tub.

It would be beneficial for you to do it yourself since you can apply the pressure accordingly and determine what's too much or not enough. If you prefer the friend, then just guide them. It really doesn't hurt as long as they apply soft pressure and go slowly. Some people actually enjoy it while others use it as sexual pleasures. Therefore, what does that indicate as far as hurting?

Well if you're not embarrassed to have your friend do it then go ahead. Best position is laying down on your side (check the instructions though because one side is better than the other & it should say which one). Put a nice thick towel down on the bathroom floor to lay on so you can hold it in as long as you can.

No - it shouldn't hurt.

They will need to be a dear and close friend. Instruction should have come with the kit. If not ask your Doctor the information. If not I would find a new Doctor.
