The government screening the news only leads the way to a society like Stalin's or Mussolini's. We cannot afford to compromise our right to free speech!

Sometimes I think the government should have its own counter propaganda station, but not place restraints on the media (as it is generally some form of truth)... Although, I could argue that almost all the news in the country comes from... what could be called and oligopoly.

as far as i go, media should be allowed controlled freedom
bring out injstice and crimes, but don't encroach upon someone's pvt. space
