i am a single parent and am looking for a large colouful keyboard for my visually impaired son,,,,,, please can you help???

I'd think the RNIB would help with this. If they can't, they'll tell you who can.

apply for a grant - via the school / local authority for education purposes

apply via the blind institute

look for local charities who do this stuff

ask a local group if they would do a fundraiser for you - scout group, football team, school, youth club

do a raffle or similar yourself - registar yourself as a charity

write to the IT manager at schools / colleges employers to see if they have any lying around - you'd be surprised how many are bought and dumped in cupboards

they already make high contrast keyboards with large keys that are not very expensive. contact a vendor like tigerdirect or newegg and they should be able to guide you towards a purchase
