I just got a table tennis table for christmas and I've been playing a lot. I recently noticed that the blue surface was already scratching. Is there any way to protect against this?

No, I don't play with a pool ball, i think the scratching is just from the paddle hitting the table during play, it's not that wierd, is it?

Draw with sidewalk chalk. Go around looking for the best tree-climbing trees. Take a bunch of pictures making it look like you went on an adventure that never really happened. Build a blanket fort. Color. Go to a playground and swing. Honestly, we all know that childish things are the most fun.

what kind of ball are you playing with? i've never heard of that happening before, but i guess you could put a layer of turtle wax on it.

what are you doing, throwing your racket at it? or using a heavy ball? the ball should be light and hollow... it shouldn't be cracking, you could paint over it though
