I have a friend,she married a japanese,but they seperated a few months after.and now she is planning to marry a japanese again,
can her future husband marry her even she did not divorce her exhusband? is there a divorce in the philippines

There is no divorce in the Philippines (it's illegal), but there IS annullment. This sounds strange, but it's true. She has to get the previous marriage annulled before she can get married again.

Yes, the Catholic Church controls the government in the Philippines, and will not allow the legislature to pass a bill making divorce legal! Their constitution contains wording about "protecting the family unit."

im not phillippino but i think the laws are the same with regard to marriage...she must divorce before remarriage
