Hi
I am in the 2 week wait 6 days post Ovulation and tonight want to have a nice relaxing bath but am worried that heating my body up may stop any thing happening ! What is your advice and has any one heard that hot baths can be harmful at this time ?

Hi, im also trying to conceive and have never heard that one. I know if you are pregnant then you can still have a warm bath just not too hot. I am sure lots of women have a nice relaxing bath when thet are pregnant. Babies are resiliant things and so many women try worst than a bath to bring on miscarriage with no results. Enjoy your bath x

My well being care provider informed me that's totally properly to take warm baths at a similar time as pregnant, yet to tell my husband that warm baths/warm tubs etc...are a no-no for adult men if TTC-considering their "kit" are on the exterior of their physique, the intense warmth can impression the sperm.

You would be better not to have a very hot bath. A warm one would be fine but I do know that when you are pregnant a hot bath can cause miscarriages so be careful

As long as it's not scalding hot, you will be fine. Women used to conceive all the time in the days when we only had baths and not showers!
