In the PC or Mac computer world, freezing is a sign of the system or video card over heating. Today's gaming systems are very fast yes but like their computer cousins more speed means more heat. It is just the laws of physics. However, unlike computers you can not tear into your gaming systems and add a fan without maybe voiding the warranty. Try putting a small portable fan close to your game cube blowing into it to cool the case as any cooling air of some kind would have to help. Write the company and ask them if there are over heating issues and if the are how can you address this. Hope I helped.

try to restart it and turn it back on and off....if that doesnt work....get off of it for a while and come back to try to get it to work in an hour
