When you find out let me know, because i eat 3 times a day, with junk food in between meals, drink protein and work out, i tried ensure and other weight gainers, i was on birth control but i didnt gain a pound when other females would already be gaining up to 20lbs??? People say i am not skiny at all, i am just slim and they height kind of messes it up too. Overall i get a lot of attention so i am sure its not too bad and i am sure you aint too skinny either. You just wish you was thicker. But they say be careful of what you wish for because you might as well just get it and then its too late and a problem to lose weight. So i just enjoy my food, life, my body, attention i get and relaxxxxxxxxx!!!! You should do that too!

i dont really know what to tell you about gaining weight but the reason you cant gain weight is because you have a fast metabolism your stomach digests the food really fast before your body takes what it needs. Its the same thing for fat people but instead they have a slow metabolism when they eat the food stays there for a long period of time and then when they eat again it piles up in the stomach then the body takes out all the things it needs including fat and thats how people start to get big so when you see fat people or skinny people its not that they eat to o littlie or too much it all depends on there metabolism but try eating alot of bacon or anything thats deep fried and real thick shakes

Well your only 15 hun... That's why... You'll gain but it won't be for some time... It would take a lot more than just eating carbs or drinking weight gain products. It's in your genetics, and it doesn't matter if your mom and dad are bigger, this may be something that you inherited from another relative. For instance, in my family, everyone is shorter than me. I'm 6'2", my mom is 5'3", my sister is 5'4" at best, and my dad is only 5'8", but my mother has tall cousins on her side, where I probably got my heght.

You should probably be happy and proud, because it's a whole different world to try lose oppose to gain.

You'll be fine.

I was skinny until i joined the service. There I started to drink beer and the meals they servced in the chow hall were high in calories plus i ate a lot of junk food when I was drinking beer.
I soon gained weight and i have been fighting the battle of the bulge ever since. Dang..i wish i was skinny again, but i got a wish bone instead of backbone and eat more calories then i burn off!

you have a fast metabolism - thats good..
but if you plan to gain weight...eat in a healthy way, eat more carbs from good sources and more protein, try to stay away from too much saturated fats. Even though your not gaining weight from junk food, its possible to have higher cholesterol/triglycerides in your body even though the scale says your underweight (even skinny people can have high cholesterol)

this is multi-caused.
consider all the following factors:

- physically you consume a lot of energy, especially sports on ice such as hockey.
- you are a smart person, and you are always thinking about something. particularly you go through a lot of thinking while eating.
- you have this kind of gene that doesn't likely to store much fat.
- you are not digesting food efficiently.
- you have parasite inside your intestine. this might be positive if you eat a lot of junk food, cos if they don't wash their food well and you eat them raws, you might get parasite eggs from eating raw vegetable and meat. eating raw meat is risky cos most of animals out there have parasites in them. vegetables must be washed and rinsed efficiently before eating them raw. some parasite eggs can survive in like 80 degree celculs environment. that's why you should always cook meat until they are really cooked.

when i was young i got called all kinds of names like, stick ,string bean ,weana, my doctor told me to drink a milkshake a day and it helped a lot plus was good also try this..
SYNERGY SMOOTHIE TO GAIN WEIGHT:

Combine the following ingredients in a high speed blender:
10 oz. Thai full fat coconut milk
1 Tbsp. extra virgin organic coconut oil
2 raw Omega-3 whole eggs
1 tsp. cold-pressed flax seed oil
2 tsp. unheated honey
1 Tbsp. protein powder
1 cup fresh or frozen fruit
2 scoops high-potency digestive enzyme powder
1 cup organic yogurt
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Properly prepared, this smoothie is an extraordinary source of easy-to-absorb nutrition. It contains large amounts of live enzymes, probiotics, vitally important live proteins, and a full spectrum of essential fatty acids. It can be consumed one to two times each day. It should be consumed within 24 hours after it is blended. People who were severely undernourished have consumed this smoothie on a daily basis and gained phenomenal amounts of weight. For those with compromised digestion, it is best to add a high-potency enzyme powder to this smoothie. The protein-digesting enzymes contained in the product will destroy any unwanted pathogens, as will the pathogen-fighting fatty acids contained in the cultured dairy and extra virgin organic coconut oil. For those who can't stand the thought of consuming raw eggs in their smoothies, this smoothie recipe can still be beneficial without the eggs. It might take longer to see positive results.

First of all, dont eat too much junk. But for this tricky situation, you should probably consult your physican, not a bunch of people rummaging around yahoo! Answers for points.
