You never know with kids these days. I know 11 year olds who still worship my little pony!! 11 is a tough stage. You aren't a teen yet, but you do not want to be seen as a kid anymore. I wouldn't recommend money because that just says "I didn't think of you at all, here's 10 bucks." I think a gft card would be fine or maybe a cool tee-shirt. You should ask the girl's parents what she'd like. I don't think that she would appreciate something like an ipod because she might break it. Here are some sugggestions:
beanie baby
a squishy pillow
a gift card (limited too, maybe)
nail polish kit
Polly Pocket doll
a cute tee shirt
Dream Life TV game

one of those "make your own bag" kits with paint bottles
a Bratz head styling doll
a cute calendar
one of those bags that can turn into blankets!
a computer game (Roller Coaster tycoon)
a DVD (Narnia, Freaky Friday, etc.)
Those are just some ideas for her, I hope she likes whatever you get her!!!!

whoa... all you people are talking about give an 11 year old kid an ipod or a computer or a camera...!!! WTF... she is 11 YEARS OLD.. I have a 10 year old sister but I would NEVER even think about give her an ipod or something like that... I would give her a bratz doll or something like that...-just so she can be a kid a little more longer... !!! I don´t know... this is just what I think.. ;)
