Use the cleaners WITHOUT amonia......those are safe for window tinting. Whatever you do...NO amonia......there are plenty of cleaners that will say on the label..."safe for window tint".

Happy cleaning!

the absolute best thing to clean tinted windows with is also one of the cheapest. a mild solution of vinegar and water in a spray bottle. soap leaves streaks, and most glass cleaners contain ammonia which will break down the film. if you dont want to use vinegar there is many ammonia free glass cleaners out there. there is no need for special tint cleaners. those are just out there for people that dont know any better.

Well I dont know if this is the same as what you need, but the windows on my car are tinted and I buy special window cleaner for them. You can find the same cleaner from Wal-mart or any department store that sells window cleaners. I get mine from the auto section, it would probably work for your windows also.

Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
...I encourage you to try it out.
