got some techglide forwarsds on a volusia. bought ~suzuki engine bars and guess waht they wont go on with forwards.not sending them back as cost me hard cash to get here and will have to pay to return.any idea where i can get some chromed extension bars or similar .i have a workbench and a drill if that helps.thanks in advance

Do you need the extension bars to extend out sideways, or move the guards forward?
Either case. I think you'll have to make some custom ex bars to fit your application.
(I used to go through this crap all the time when customers wanted to mix and match different accessories from different manufacturers that weren't made to work with each other).
First figure out what you need - would a piece of flat steel work to move one of the guard's mounts forward? Then get it at a hardware store. Cut, drill holes and paint it
If you want to move them sideways away from the engine, a piece of pipe would work. But then you'll have to get longer bolts.
