Why not finish tech school and let their career placement services help you find a job? I am sure there are decent jobs in your industry, especially if you make good grades and are proficient with electronics.

Perhaps you can transfer but you may lose some credits if the college you transfer to doesn't take them. The downside of this is that you will spend quite a bit of time taking general education requirements (unless you CLEP out) before you get to the classes that pertain to your major.

If I were you I would finish the tech program and see what kind of job that gets you. Then once you are employed perhaps you can go to college and get tuition reimbursement through your employer.

By the way you should not use your first and last name on this thing. You just never know.

If you read my question that I posted you will see that we are on the same boat. I actually finished my tech school though since already got loans for them and would have to pay even if i didn't finish. Im stuck on wether i should start over or transfer to only 2 schools that i have to choose from because my credits will not transfer to a regular school. Depending on how far you have gotten would determine your next step. How far along are you? Will you have to pay even though you don't go there anymore?

y low middle-class? you can make a lot i of $ in electronics! and it's not what you make, it's what you keep that matters. if you're not at all academic, you're doing exactly the right thing! if you went to university, you'd have to read SO MANY BOOKS! that's not your strong suit -- apparantly electronics is. you'd waste your time reading poems and gaining NO SKILLS! i went to uni, but i wish i'd gone to tech instead. maybe i'd have some marketable skills instead of being a complete loser. i suck, don't listen to me. i'm worthless. i just wish i could be in your shoes.
