She has the only accurate answer. Ask her. Try to keep suspicion or anger from your question though, and you'll empower her to answer more thoughtfully and thus honestly. She may still harbor feelings for him, but it does not mean she would rather be with him! It may be that events in that relationship are ones she is afraid of repeating with you, or that she fears is happening and doesn't know how to bring it up more directly. Ask her what she liked about the relationship (not about him!), and what she did not like about the relationship (not about him!). These are important valuable Q and A's that we should all ask our selves between relationships so we don't have to carry luggage around with us. Good luck to you. it doesnt mean that she neccesarily likes her ex still..... atleast not in that way...... my gf (we've been seeing each other for about a year and a half now) still talks about her ex's......... both of them..... i knew them too (hated em tho, lol). in my gf's case, she just holds onto memories, and memories where you are hurt from it, those are even harder to let go of.... she may not be completely over him, in fact, she probably aint.... atleast not completely. however, that dont mean she still wants him... which one dumped who? if he dumped her, then it is prolly cause she got hurt from that, and she still has a death grip on that memory... talk to her about it, and talk to her about her ex bf. ask her why she always talks about him, tell her that it makes u uncomfortable, and then talk with her and try to help her over it. i did that with my gf, and now, she still sometimes talks about em, and i dont mind. she even talks about certain dates they went on and stuff too, and no matter what she talks about, i know that im in her life now, and not him..... there's a reason shes going out with you, and maybe she just needs some help over this other guy.

She's probably just telling you stories. It's really all about how she is treating YOU. If she's kind, loving, and always there for you, then you shouldn't worry. If she's distant... then you've got a real problem.
