Well I think it's typically spelled Nicholas but I like Nickolas. As for middle names, my parents almost named my brother (or me if I were a boy) that (he's 13 and I'm 14) Nicholas Joseph. Other names that go well are:

As for spelling, you could spell the name as: Nickolas, Nikolas, Nicholas, Nicolas... and I'm sure there are more spellings.
As for a middle name to go with Nickolas: Roger, Ryan, Jamal, Jamie, Aaron, Acton, Brice, or Billy.

Ultimately we went with Benjamin Ryan, but I still love Nickolas.
