This is a bathroom and the cold water is good but there is no hot water. When I turn on the shower in this room, it increases the pressure of the water coming out of the tap, but it is cold, not hot.. The shower only has cold as well. This home was built in 92 and my other rooms have hot and cold. Should I call the plumber now?

turn up the heat in the house, and leave the hot water faucet for the shower running. it doesn't need to be full blast. if the pressure increases as you say, it hasn't frozen completely, yet. if this is something new that has happened suddenly, it's probably weather/ outside temperature related. if you've never had great hot water in this shower, it could be a problem with the mixing valve. good luck.

Yea it could be frozen if you are in a place where temps are freezing if you can see the pipe put a hair dryer on it......Had a pipe freeze burst while at work and on second floor not a pretty sight........make sure you insulate the exposed pipes you can get covering at Home Depot
Good Luck

Yes cause I would think that perhaps the hot water line is frozen shut and everytime you turn it on you increase the pressure in the hot water heater. You may be able to fix your self if you can find the place where it is frozen and can access it then put a heater on it until it opens up.

Sounds like somebody goofed, try tracking the pipes from the water heater to the bathroom to see if hot water was even plumbed into that room. Then call for help.

There are some sorts of heaters that would flow interior the water to maintain it at 40 ranges. some will elect the flow and there are some that save on the bottom they frequently want to be grounded properly. examine your community farm provide or Jeffers catalog. you'll get the Jeffer's mag by technique of technique of calling a million-800-jeffers they frequently actually have provides for swine, cattle, horses and consistent pets. As far because the nicely historic days good such plenty farms have creeks that run by technique of way of them and with fantastic dam administration they could not freeze. also the wells were dug deep they frequently ought to deliver water at the same time as needed. My brother also did slightly trick and that replaced into he saved a small log interior the water and at the same time as he ought to feed up he ought to easily vacation the ice extremely. yet in my experience there should be not something higher than an electric powered water heater. in my opinion I hate breaking ice! at the same time as the water is 40 ranges your cattle will drink better that is higher for them when you think about that they are going to eat better hay to adhere warm in chilly climate. desire this helps, TC Circle C Ranch
