Yes, Democracy does exist. Look at America, we were tired of Bush's uncomprimising views and imcompetence in the face of mounting problems domestically and abroad, so we elected a Democratic Congress to counter his policies.

when you read something even if you have been told this since childhood , remember it is someones story so the first thing is to look for the agenda this person has ,is it for profit ? or personal or political gain, how truthful does this story sound and does it made any sense, other than to sway opinion, do some back ground research, seldom is one point of view correct, so take different views and some where in the middle you should be able to decipher to get at least part of the truth, We live in a world where it seems many parties are striving for control and will do any thing to further their goals, some will sell even their
country out, to their very enemy's some times nor realizing the consequences, some , many people will believe our news media not knowing our news media has its own agenda, T,V, is just as bad and if you will take notice even in a skit on T,V, or movie there is a 90% chance of a political message within, also when there is a concerted effort to sway peoples opinion there is usually a very good reason and it is not very often truthful nor beneficial to our people or country,on the contrary it is so many times detrimental to us and our country so ask your self what exactly does this mean in common language, and who profits from this either politically or personally,
