I searched a file by going to start->Search->For files or folders. The file name has been retained, whenever I press the initial letter in the serach bar, it shows the complete word. How do I delete it?

For Internet Explorer, go to Tools from the menu bar, Select internet options... There is a button toward the bottom of the popup box that says "Clear History".

If your using Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Delete(under the General tab)>Delete Forms>Yes. This should work!
