You might find it easier to find a website that gives steep discounts on solid gold bricks.

Don't knock refurbished computers. I've had refurbished machines that lasted longer than brand new.

Apple sets the price point, and only allows resellers to sell at the price Apple sells them themselves, your not going to find a macbook any cheaper then what it is on apple's website or at your local apple store, no matter where you look. The only possible exception would be buying refurbished, used, or display models.

The only thing i can suggest is to go to apple's website and if u are a student you can get a student discount store.apple.com that is the only discount that i know about and i work for apple.
