I think a luau is better! You will be turning twelve, do something strange and interesting. Gets some of your friends from school or wherever and set like a hawaiian theme.
Get your cocunut cups, maybe you could serve it with some pina colada. By the way I think your tableware should be yellow or orange! I hope this answer helps u out!

If this is the two choices that the 12 yr girl give you to set up a party...
Have a Luau and then used a fiesta items like bead necklaces, bright Mexico color stickers, or some small fiesta clothing ..like a hair clip or a scarfs inside the Pinata that way when she and her guest try to open the Pinata out comes another world. She might like since it has both kind things one party.
Think about it it might work... mmm.. ???
