The Eagles wrote and produced "Hotel California" in the 70's. the true meaning of this song is crazy though...the Eagles, when they first became popular, were known for having sex with every waitress, hostess, cashier, ANYBODY they could pick up in Southern California for years! Then they wrote "Hotel California" about all the sexual drug induced escapades and the addiction of their crazy lifestyle....
