Yes sometimes I think I tend to look back to much and that is one of the reasons I have a hard time moving forward.

Yes I look back a lot all the time...with every diaper change I look back and think of how my life would have been if I wouldnt have gotten pregnant at 19! luckily I have accepted my life and am happy but I still just think about how my life could be right now, if I didnt have a baby.

I look back all the time to remind myself what not to do while moving forward. It makes for a long road and a slow walk, but it helps me get to my destination.

I try not to torture myself with mistakes that I have made as I understand that they can help deter me from making them again. Alternately, I try not to spend too much time reveling in my successes. I think that only foolish or thoughtless people make a focused effort to indiscriminately forget their past failures and successes.

I am always fighting my past so I have to be sure of what I do in the present so I will not regret my past because the past shapes the future and I want to keep rocking on my chosen course and not drag anyone down...

Yes I look back to previous relationships to see how good I am nowdays with the present relationship and also to my previous life to see much I have improved as a person and how much my life has improved it self.

Yes, when I ran over an old lady with my car I looked back to see if she was okay... I couldn't stop because my ice cream was melting. She seemed fine
