The scientists have been striving hard to find life not only on mars, but any where in the solar system or even the universe. But so far what we call and understand by life has not been found anywhere else other than than on earth. So, it is not just right combination of oxygen, nitrogen, CO2, temperature, pressure, liquid water, soil or earth condition etc that are needed for life to evolve in presence of radiation, heat and other conditions like pull of gravity. And even if all those conditions are met , life requires blessings of 'God' to flourish. It is this element , grace of God' that is missing hence there is no life on mars. The day life is really found on mars or on any other planet, we will accept that grace of god is not needed for life to evolve itself, it is all probability only.

For more than 100 years, people have believed that there could be life on Mars. the focus of present-day scientists as they try to determine whether there is or has ever been life on Mars. It is now generally agreed that water does exist on the red planet.
The strongest evidence against the presence of life, however, is the thinness of the atmosphere and the fact that the surface of the planet is exposed not only to lethal doses of solar ultraviolet radiation but also to the chemical effects of highly oxidizing substances (such as hydrogen peroxide) produced by photochemistry.
The Martian atmosphere consists largely of carbon dioxide (95 per cent), with smaller quantities of nitrogen (2.7 per cent), argon (1.6 per cent), and oxygen (0.2 per cent), and trace amounts of water vapour, carbon monoxide, and noble gases
The amount of water vapour present in the Martian atmosphere is extremely small and variable

Stay tuned, we may find life yet. We hav'ent been every where on the planet yet. I hear dht e other day they think they found somoe water. And usually where there's water there is life. Or maybe it's because all the martians packed up and moved to Earth ....and that's why some people are just really weird.

That is not proven, there is bound to be life on mars. Maybe in a different form then humans. Maybe they don't need water and oxygen. Everything is possible...

Used to. When young earth was just having the first living thing. But now..everything is destryoed there....or we might just not have found it yet.
Also the conditions where living things can live are:
1. Free oxygen in the atmosphere
2. Liquid water
3. Mild temperature
Mars lacks all three of them.
