If you are a smaller girl take a big guy with you. I went and saw The Killers and I had to fight to get near the stage. Little emos and preteens were swarming everywhere, if my friend weren't there I'd probably be eaten by now. Your concert sounds more moshy, so don't be afraid to shove back, but don't throw punches or anything, and help anyone that falls down. Be careful and don't get yourself in a situation that scares you. It will shock you how tightly packed and violent everyone will be, so really pay attention. Have tons of fun!

Bring a camera/binoculars. Try not to have to go to the bathroom. Usually they're really crowded and disgusting.
Relax, have fun, people-watch, immerse yourself in it all.
I still remember my first concert like it was yesterday (and it was over 30 years ago): Deep Purple. Opening act: Billy Preston.
I had the time of my life. Hope you do too.
