Today's creators seem to drop the ball all the time, Ultimates 2, Civil War, Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine. What is the cause and deal?

I don't know about the Ultimates, but Civil War was pushed back because they are apparently adding more pages to the last issue. Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine's writer is busy working on a season of lost and will supposedly pick it up again once he's done with Lost.

Since they are in business to make money (not to entertain us), what they do is driven by the desire for money and limited by their cash flow. I take it that the delays are an indication of Marvel’s poor cash flow, which in turn depends on their sagging sales, which reflects the unpopularity of their series, like Civil War.

As Clausewitz said, war is an extension of politics by other means; to get the enemy to do what you want. If they won’t cooperate, kill them and the survivors or your people will go in and do what you want. Marvel is engaged in a civil war against their readership, trying to manipulate their hearts and minds.

But, We The Readers are too sharp for them, and we demand that they stop giving us such thinly disguised political brainwashing and indoctrination. If, in the course of events, they refuse to stop this nonsense and expect us to keep on paying them to subvert our values, a decent respect for public opinion requires us to make clear what are our complaints against them.

This we are doing by not buying Marvel. We are voting with our feet, and with our money.

I am sorry that it is causing the delay of other titles as well, but hopefully they will learn their lesson and listen to us soon. Otherwise, they are likely to go out of business.
