Borovec is the best skiing. It's has luxury hotels, that are actually really cheap (just like in Albena, Sunny Beach or Golden Sands). If you like water parks - visit Golden Sands. It has one of the best water parks in Europe! I've been there 5 times and it's awesome!
If you like mountains - go to Vitosha, Pirin or Rodopi... actually it doesn't matter, because they are all beautiful. Borovec is a mountain resort, but if you like being alone with the nature you have to visit Velingrad. It is a small mountain town and you can go hiking in many different places. It has a lot of excellent hotels and chalets. Make sure you visit Gabrovo. It is near to a really nice place called - Etar. The Etar is a resort, that is preserved the way it was a few hundred years ago. It is amazing.
