I would volunteer If they would take me. (I'm a little too old). With my scientific skills, I think I could do some good. As for location, I would go where I was needed.

Yes I would. I am on the voluteer list for the US NAVY. One it is my responsibility to serve and protect my country. two the money aint that bad either. Three Why not. the world would be a better place if all the fighting would stop but we all know that isn't going to happen. So yes I will go not because I support the war but because I have friends and family over there.

Afghanistan because it's where we need our troops ideally. We started there, but then just kind of left. Don't get me wrong, we have quite a few units there, but nothing in comparison to Iraq, and the Afghani people need our help a little then the Iraqi's.

for a start its not a war on terror. afghanistan has most of the smack and iraq has oil. its just the yanks sticking their fingers in other peoples pies!

There is no war on terror in Iraq: it's a war for petrol and domination of the Middle-East.
"War on terror" is a nonsense. War, imperialism, oppression and exploitation generate terror (action/reaction principle).

i'm e,barassed to admit i'd be afraid of getting killed. being a coward is more sociazlly acceoptable these days. i admire those who do volunteer

i would never prefer to go to afganistan or iraq for voluntery,bcoz it's always fear over there,no food ,water,facilites..
