Potassium dichromate, a dehydrated acid salt of chromic acid H2CrO4 since "dichromic acid" doesn't actually exist. If K2Cr2O7 is reacted with equimolar alkali, it will form potassium chromate.

It is a salt called Potassium Dichromate. It is a very strong oxidizer and because of this property it is a "rad" cleaner also

Its solid crystals are orange in color and thus a solution of potassium dichromate in water will give a distict orange color.
