Hi there, i do not know if you mean by Arabia all the Arab nations or the Arabian peninsula. If you mean all the Arab nations, so there are twenty-two countries that occupy 12.9 million square kilometers of land, which is much bigger than the United States 9.6 million. They all speak Arabic.

Persia consists only of Iran. The two cultures largely overlap, and most of people living in Iran and the Arab world are Muslims, however in some countries like Lebanon, Sudan and Palestine (or what is left of Palestine) there are high percentages of Christians too.

A hundred years ago there were no borders between Iran and the other Arab countries. But now there are political borders between them.

Hope that was helpful.

Wasn't Persia the old name for Arabia?

What was known as "Arabia" is now Saudi Arabia and surrounding countries. "Persia" referred to Iran and surrounding areas. They did border on each other, but there is no definitive border now.

There are different regions of the world that border each other. The people see themselves as distinct races and cultures. Their languages are from different language families. Arabic is a Semitic language while Persian is an Indo-European language.
