In North America there are over thirty halls of fame to various sports and sporting events

There are the big four - Baseball in Cooperstown, NY. Basketball in Springfield, MA. Hockey in Toronto, Ont. and Football in Canton, OH. Out of that there are dozens and dozens of hall of fames. There is the horse racing trotters hall of fame in Goshen, NY. Also I think there is a roller derby HOF, ping pong HOF, tennis HOF, skiing HOF, you name a sport chances there is a hall of fame for it.

You have the boxing hall of fame in Canastota, NY near Syracuse.

Sorry, I don't know, but I believe they would be "Halls of Fame" not "Hall of Fames." Good luck.

and don't forget the NASCAR hall of fame under construction in charlotte. and KP was right, it's halls of fame, not hall of fames.
