what are you motives. street racing? if so don't bother it is dangerous as well as illegal.ed to do it alot when i was younger. i did alot of crazy and stupid stuff. i never lost of the start even to better cars but the top end of my cars was not always good.if you are looking for better performance only give your car a tuneup plugs wires cap rotor coil. take it from me(i wrapped my first car around a tree at 100+ and walked away) racing isn't worth it.if your car is a dog turbo is the way to go. NOS can damage too much stuff internally because it burns at such a high temp. i could beat guys with 454's with a factory six in my maverick so the engine isn't the only thing to consider. i shifted it like a stick ( maxing rpms before going to the next gear.it was auto . i used low- drive like standard gears.
