Do you have the scientific explanation??

The same thing can happen in some parts around the faucet, over the marble.

I have good ventilation from a window, does it help to reduce it or to expand it?

It could be the growth of mold. Spray it with a 50% bleach solution. If the brown color disappears, I would suspect mold. If the color remains, it may be iron from the water. If it is iron, you might want to consider a filter or water softener at your cold water inlet. If it is mold, you might have to wipe everything down with bleach in your bathroom. And yes, you do need good ventilation as mold grows when the humidity remains high.

My guess would be dust / dirt from your furnance / air conditioner. Fine particals become airborne and the humidity in the bathroom settles them down.

You may also have a very high mineral content to your water.
