Hi, I just went on www.snootysims.com and couldn't believe it when I saw there is a new sims game coming out for PC called the Sims Life Stories AHHH What!? Well I tried to look into it and it says on the website that the only diffierence between this and the Sims 2 for Pc is the fact that It is Laptop Friendly and that there will be others like Sims pets stories and castaway stories....It then said that these are stand alone packs and they all play seperately on the Pc and we wont be able to download new sims on the exchange on it! What do you think Sims 2 fans should do? will you be buying it or think it will be a waste of money and stick to what we know best? PLEASE help me decide! LOL

I dint have any problem playing Sims 2 on my laptop and I have all the games installed in my laptop.. I would stick with the original Sims 2.

What does 'Laptop Friendly' mean?
Laptop-Friendly means that The Sims Stories can be played on both laptops and desktops. The game doesn't require a video card and the controls have been designed specifically for the laptop with an auto-pause function where you can start and stop the action when you open and close the lid. Although the game runs on both desktops and laptops, one of our main priorities was to design a game that could be played in a separate window while you I'M and chat with friends.
