Chili Johns---some people will even fly their chili back to the east coast
For the best breakfast burritos: try Corner Cottage on Victory Blvd.
Unfortunately, I don't feel Burbank is the bastion of fine dining

Market City on San Fernando has a very pleasant atmosphere for brunch. On Sundays they sometimes have a string quartet playing while you eat. Also, I enjoy Picanha, a Brazilian place on Palm Ave that serves meat at your table. The meal includes a lovely salad bar with delicious plantains and fresh fruit. I must admit, however, that my favorite dessert in Burbank belongs to B.J.'s Bar & Grill (off of first street) that serves a delicious Pizooki, a hot, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie with Vanilla Bean ice cream. Happy eating!

The Ramp. It was a dumpy little place just off the freeway. One of the best steak dinners I have ever had. Even better than Harris Ranch.
