My philosaphy is to "start giving people what they want, then without asking you will get what you want" PMA (positive mental attitude or giving positive stroke" It worked and working each day in my profession.

I go one of two ways, always. Either up or down. Down doesn't hurt them but up gives them another point if selected best answer.

Yep, nearly all the time. If you be nice to them, what are they going to say? " Oh, your so nice, I hate you." Unless they are mental, the usually just walk away, probably furious.... which is hilarious.
