Yes, just decided that I needed a holiday and decided to land in Atlanta and make my way over to Savannah and then up the coast towards Myrtle Beach. Anyone else done this trip and knows whats good to go and see?

In Atlanta you can go to the aquarium or the zoo. Also there is the Coke museum. On the way to Savannah you could stop in Macon. They have The Music Hall of Fame. Also the Sports Hall of Fame. Then in Savannah you could go shopping on River Street. There is also a big Flea Market there if you like to look for bargans. I'm not sure about anything else on the way to Myrtle Beach. Hope you have fun.

Jeckyl Island to the south of Ga is very nice and better than Hilton Head in my opinion. The college town of Athens has a lot to offer for a few days and I've heard that Macon is pretty hip but I haven't been there.

I have been to Myrtle Beach several times; it is very disappointing. It is a gloomy stretch of sand flanked by generic T-shirt and sandal shops. If I were you, I would go to Hilton Head instead. It is much nicer.

in atlanta definately see the aquarium, its so cool, and in savannah, try going to some old cemetaries because people say that savannah is haunted!
