I'm a bookworm and like to read while waiting on the food to arrive. I have gone to Buffalo Wild Wings a few times. It's a half hour wait on your order(perfect to squeez in a chapter of two). The waitress and manager are always verry rude, making comments about loitering. I leave as soom as the bill comes? I would like to find a place that doesn't mind if you sit quietly alone and read.- Maby the employees at BWW are so hostil because they can't read.

Just keep in mind that when you linger the server is losing out on money they could've gotten from the next table turnover. In some states server's only get paid like $2.13 an hour so you are costing that server money that would bring them up to minimum wage. I don't expect it but some people have actually left me extra money when they have stayed up to an hour after I have cashed them out, it was just a real nice thing to do. Even as a server I would never go back to a restaurant that was rude to me about lingering, I just thought you might want to know why it is resented. Personally, I think this situation is just part and parcel of being a server.

If you are down in Cape, I'm sure there is a Panera. They're usually friendly and don't bother you about leaving. Heck, you don't even have to order anything and still just sit in the corner and use their wireless. Good luck with finding a place!

I used to hang at the Dennys' and they never bothered me. We could play chess and drink coffee all night. I still go when I want to sketch things I am working on. I take a pad and pencils and some drafting tools and spend hours there.
