They must be after a food source. Remove the food (could be dried pumpkins, corn shucks, even a bowl of nuts or berries) OR the smell (candle, etc.) and you should be good. I would also spray the screens with bitter apple. Spray from the outside, in ... I know this means the bitter apple will get onto the porch area, but I would rather them scent to smell from the outside before they nibble than after they nibble (and thus you have damage). Bitter apple can be found at Walmart or pet supply stores. (It is used as a repellent.)

i've got not got any squirrel situation, yet I do have a situation with the cats mountain climbing the monitors...tear them up very with out postpone. I have been given some "hardware textile" to cover the screening. it is a heavy gauge twine mesh, the squares in keeping with inch are surprisingly much comparable to prevalent screening. It does not replace the prevalent reveal screen, yet protects it. you may screw or staple it down on the exterior of your place, or in case you want it to look greater useful, make a physique for it which you will connect on the exterior of the homestead. 40 4 cats have not been able to make a dent in those products, it is tough! It could have the capacity to stand up to a squirrel conveniently.
