Some time ago I got the side of my lip pierced and now I want to put a hoop in. I know it is 16gauge but I am not sure how to figure out which width of a ring I need. I can order 3/8", 1/2", or 1/4". I am just kinda lost on this. Please help.

People who wanna bash me can go **** themselves. My husband likes my piercing and thinks it looks hot so anyone who wants to bash me is just jealous because I have big enough balls to actually get it done.

i think that the gauge size is like wire gauge size 3/8 is about 00gauge 1/2 is huge and usually marked as 1/2 and 1/4 is about 2 gauge however a 16 gauge is a little smaller than 1/16 of an inch 14 gauge is about 1/16 on and inch hope this helps and if people dont like piercings to effin bad it not like im holding them down and piercing their faces.

If you go to hot topic in a mall they will sell you the ring accoriding to cuage sixes.
I dont know how many inches a 16 guage is. I would say that it is either 3/8" or 1/4".

The diameter of your ring is a matter of personal choice. Now that you have a new hole in your face. You can wear any ring that shows other people what you have done to yourself. Others with holes in their faces will admire your expression of individuality because it is just like theirs. Old people and employers will still think you are odd for mutilating your face no matter what you put in your new hole. Have fun with it and keep it clean.

i think you should get a stud that peeks out from under your bottom lip (on the outside)
cuz this girl i know got a ring on her lip, and from far away it looked like she had something stuck on her lips, or like she was drooling.

I don't mean to be critical, but are you sure you want to keep your lip piercing? If you want my advice, don't wear any of it, but if you won't take that, take the smallest one.
