Because a VA school-teacher did art-work with his buttucks in his free time, he was fired from his job. Was firing him the right thing to do?

Probably not. But teachers are used as indicators of how our society works. And like police officers, politicians and preachers they are often looked at as highly moral (we trust our kids with them don't we) and as such are looked upon differently than the rest of our society. Their private life and what they do with it are also in the public eye and a "misstep" can be costly.

Tough questions but at the same time, you have to recognize that this person is teaching CHILDREN...and has a "responsibility" to think about what if the children he is teaching found out about this...what would they think? Would they think that this is ok? The answer is maybe....and you wouldnt want that if your children were learning from him.

If he did this in his free time and it doesn't affect his teaching he shouldn't have been fired, I mean think about it how many men out there have porn, who teach,are doctors should we fire all of them too.As long as it doesn't affect their work life have at it!!
