What did people do before hairstraighteners, I don't remember huge frizz ball walking round, but my children spend at least 2 hours daily straightening, and are unable to leave the house without doing this.

New hair straighteners are great. The older ones might last two days or till it rained on my hair. I just put a little gel on it so it didn't frizz too bad. My hair pretty well does what it wants to. A good flat iron will work.

Way back in the day peeps would iron their hair or just blow it out straight. And in response to the lady who thinks that using a straightener is bad for your hair, it all depends on whic type you use and how well you take care of your hair. All heat styling can take a toll on your hair but if you use the right product and prep your hair correctly, the damage is very minimal.

They ironed their hair ! We had curling irons back in my day ! But today they all want straight hair !Hair straighteners are very bad for the hair !
