I'm 16 and uncircumcised and I can't pull back my foreskin at all, I haven't been able to pull it back since I was atleast 7. It's way too tight and my doctor says I should get circumcised. I wanna be circumcised but I know it's going to be painful. I try to clean my penis the best I can without pulling it back cause when I do it really hurts. Does not cleaning it all that well cause it not to grow properly? How much does circumcision cost?

Please get a second opinion. Many boys your age can't pull back their foreskins, and in most cases nature takes care of it in 2-3 years. There are stretching exercises you can do, and the doctor can prescribe a steroid cream that should help. Don't just accept the first thing the doctor says. Ask what your alternatives are. This is YOUR body, and you need the fullest possible information on ALL alternatives before having permanent changes made to it.
Most cases that don't respond to stretching and cream will be easily treated by surgery that is much less drastic than full circumcision. Find out what ALL the alternatives are and ask lots of questions. The foreskin is important to sexual satisfaction, and you want to do EVERYTHING possible to retain it.
If circumcision is actually the only alternative, then insurance should pay for it. People who are circumcised for medical reasons are usually happy with the procedure, as it cures their problem, but it IS painful for weeks, and it is true that you lose a lot of important nerve endings, so explore every other possibility first.

Haha, wow. You sound like me two years ago. Yeah, I had the same problem; can't pull back my foreskin. But I didn't sweat it much. What I think that helped pull back my foreskin was getting erection. Possibly, over time, the head would eventually widen the opening of your skin, making it possible for the head to come out. It takes patience and maybe some sensitivity as I tried to pull it out, only bit by bit. Once it starts to hurt, I stopped and would try again the next day. But please, don't take my word for it. I don't want you getting hurt. If it really hurts like ****, you can also try filling up your bathtub and slowly do it there. If doesn't help, then stop and go see your doctor.
In my opinion, it's all natural but even I think it's best to see the doctor. This plan just worked me, that's all, and I hope my plan will work for you.
Remember! If it's not effective, stop and see a doctor!

Always ask a lot of questions ... even if you need to go back and see the doctor after the initial appointment. The better informed you are the better the decision you can make ... that thought should follow all your life ....
As far as circumcised or not ... well I personally don't have a preference (before I was married, now I've only got my husbands to worry about) the best thing is a lover who takes care of his partner ... trust me ... that's a females point of view.

I don't know about cost but the problem you have can lead to painfull erections. The reason you want to keep your foreskin clean is the foul odor and cheesy goo that will occur if your dont. Just talk to your doctor and get it over with.

Not cleaning it is fine for growth, but it could cause infections. In your case, it is probably covered in your medical insurance since it is necessary. Dude, I have the same problem but I'm too embarassed to do anything. You're lucky that you at least have a doctor's recommendation.

Well take your doctors advice & get circumcized - he/she would know better than anyone on here.
I got circed reluctantly at age 28 & trust me they knock you out with anthestic & the pain afterwards ain't THAT bad. I was able to have sex within 5 weeks though at 16 hopefully that's not an issue yet.
The benefits are
no smegma - {cheesy substance}
no smell - I used to shower or bath & wash & wash down there only to smell like 1/2 an hour later
I can now pee straight - anyone having a foreskin knows it is sometimes hard to aim straight coz of the foreskin being in the way.
I enjoy both hand and head jobs more now being circumcised. I could never fully enjoy them coz my head of the penis was always moist from my foreskin & was ultra sensitve.
My ex girlfriend was reluctant for me to get circumcized as all her family had their foreskins as I was as did my family - Afterwards we were both glad I got circumcised.
My ex thought it felt bigger - we reasoned coz of the tighter skin.
She gave me head more saying it didnt smell like it used to. She also said if she had boys in the future they would be circumcised.
My orgasms are more intense
It WON'T affect your sex life when you eventually have one and if anyone says it will they're talking crap the only thing that'll affect that is between your ears.
If you having problems take your doctors advice & get circumcized.
As far as cost - well I live in Australia & depending on where you live. I know there is a place in Sydney where they do it at a private hospital for approx $900 & make you stay there for 5 nights. I got done in a small hospital for like $300 - I think medicare paid the hospital and I was only in & out in a few hours.
I am sick of all the anti-circ arguments like mutilation, it affects one's sex life, I am scarred {Get a life}, it hurts {it's not THAT bad}
If I had've known about the anti circ arguments when I had it done I wouldn't of done it but I am bloody glad I was done & didn't know all the anti-circ arguments.

you need to stretch your foreskin for about ten minutes or more every day for about a month or two and this problem will go away use your fingers or a glansie.

You should be practicing more. Don't get circumcised. Later in your life your girl will be thankfull to that. Trust me.

lack of hygiene does not stunt growth...in fact circumcision can stunt penis growth, or at least make it lean too far to one side.
Your best bet is a tiny snip that slits it open. it heals quickly, and allows opening.
