They play them all the time on BBC. If you have a Tivo or DVR, you can record them and the Tivo also lets you copy them to a PC. You can then create DVD's from them.

I am a British expat living in America. Join the local library, and rent all manner of British comedy series free. I just got Allo Allo and Keeping up Appearances. They also had Blackadder, and several others.

You could try an the HMV or Virgin records web sited.
