Let's put it this way. . .
Gas here is around 2.09. Now let's say you have a huge 20 gallon tank and it was empty. If you put all 20 gallons in, and save 10 cents a gallon, you would save 2 dollars. How long a wait is $2.00 worth to you. . .
Usually not enough to suffer the aggravation of waiting a long time for it. . .

I wouldn't wait long. Let's take your example. One place was 2.07 and the other is 2.17. It' funny how people will wait 15 or 20 minutes to save $2.00! ( 20 gallon fill up @ .10 cents savings per gallon equals $2.00.) Yet if they were offered a job whose hourly pay was 6 to 8 dollars they would laugh at it!( 60 divided by 15 or 20 equals 4 or 3 respectfully, times $2.00 equals 8 or 6 dollars an hour, respectfully!)

Gas prices are about 2.22 for 87 where I live (about 40 miles south of D.C.), and they increase drastically close to the city.
If I save .23 a gallon at a station offering 1.99/gal, and my car holds 15 gallons, then I save $3.45. That price difference isn't worth it to me waiting in line (spending $27 versus $30 on a tank of gas isn't that much different).

$2.19 if you drive about 30 minutes out of town you can get it for $2.01. Why? We need to boycott high gas prices. No I would not wait in line for $1.99 gas unless prices at other places were like $3.00 a gallon.

For an finished tank, i'd wait as a lot as 40 minutes. i could keep myself entertained with music, telephone or PSP. Now, if i'm allowed to deliver more suitable bins, then i'd wait even longer (10 minutes in accordance to 2 gallon field).

It is around $1.90 in a few rural areas here in Oklahoma. But in Durant Oklahoma for some reason it seems to hover around $2.50.
