my friend, ill call her mandy (not even close to her really name) is really giving me and the rest of my friends a hard time. she purposly ditchs some friends for her boyfriend, i would know SHE TOLD ME IN PERSON! i want to be neutral and help her learn the easy way out rather then in high school where all my friend said she would be put in her place and i think you get my drift. i want to tell her, but she gets mad at me really easilly and you don't want to make her mad, we try to stay away from that. how can i tell, without hurting anyone, including herself?

Well, before you talk to her, you have to think about why she's having this problem. I know it sounds stupid, but maybe it's not just her boyfriend. Maybe something really bad happened in her life, and she's having a hard time getting over it. Yeah, it is always possible it's just that she likes her boyfriend. Everyone has seen those movies on like how either a man or a woman has to choose between their girlfriend/boyfriend, or their friends. Most of the movies turn out that they get both, which would probably be hard to accomplish in real life, but you get the point. She's probably in the same situation and doesn't know what to do. Odds are, her boyfriend might be mad at her too, and you don't know. I wouldn't recomend telling her that her friends are all mad at her. It will make her really mad at you for one thing, and you know the expression "Don't shoot the messenger," that expression comes into play here. She'll get mad at you even though you were only trying to help. Just try and act like you don't care. Tell your friends to do the same thing. Plan to go to the movies, ask her if she wants to come, ask her only once though. If she says yes, then that will help, if she says no, and gets mad, just go with your friends. She'll find out, and might get annoy. The point isn't to annoy your friend though, you want her to see that your friends are mad at her, and for her to realize why. I know that was long, but I hope it helps.

Put in her place? For having a preference for spending time with her boyfriend instead of girlfriends??? You girls need to get a grip, a love always ultimately takes priority over family and friends. She was honest with you, now respect what she is trying to tell you all.

this is such a classic case, and it sucks big time to be on the other end of it. i'd say that you should just let her come around, and if she doesn't until the man is outta the picture, then don't be there for her. obviously she wasn't there for you until it was convenient, and if she's going to act like she's still in high school then let her understand the consequences.

im in an same difficulty w/ my freind (whos also my 1/2-bros cousin). we digital mail a lot and ive been 2 some activities of hers yet i imagine its superb that u myob till she brings it up. now and again its least puzzling to seek suggestion from people u dont study to boot b/c u dont favor to damage ur courting w/ ur bffs. only upload tricks right here and there that ur there 4 her if she desires help.

i think that she is only doing that because she thinks that she is on the top of the world with him and thinks that friends are useless.....stay cool and let time pass....if anything messes up...she"ll automatically understand what she has done...best of luck
