We have booked to go in August. It looks good in brochure but wondered if any of you have personal experience of it.

A picturesque small country called Bulgaria has existed for more than 13 centuries in Europe, linking East and West. Bulgaria remembers ancient civilisations and great people that wrote its turbulent history. Situated in Southeastern Europe, Bulgaria occupies the northeastern part of the Balkan Peninsula. Rich with history and a tapestry of people you cant go wrong.

Beautiful country, amazing and safe beaches, the people are friendly and love children in particular.

There is not the same variety of food that we are used to in the west. The hotels are old fashioned, but remember this is a poor country.

Many Gerries go there for a cheap beach holiday. For them it's an easy drive.

I'd go again, that's for sure. But remember it's a BEACH holiday, there isn't much else there. So take a book.

For a relatives i might say the right place to pass is the Dyuni motel, because it is quiet and comfortable, with numerous sturdy centers. the right inn there is the jetty Royale, even with the undeniable fact that it is relatively costly i think of. From what I experienced, Sunny coastline is relatively very crowded and packed with little ones, so sturdy for singles etc yet probable not as relaxing for families. uncertain of different hotels on the island.

To be fair, it is cheap and cheerful but personally i hated it!!!
The scenery and alcohol were great but our hotel was crap. We moved rooms because they were rank and we were right near a road full of prostitutes.
The beach area was great however loads of jelly fish but we saw dolphins which was amazing.
The food was crap, and as i am a chef and a holder of food hygeine certificates i refused to eat at our hotel and the neighbouring ones and lived on nothing but crisps!!!!
Overall it was crap.......but the people were quite nice. Do not stay at the ELENITE HOLIDAY VILLAGE if you value your health!!!
