Ans: We have been ruled by Britishers for over a century and they brought the game to India. Indians have a love for anything foreign. Also, over the years India developed a good team in cricket and come to stay in the game of cricket across the world for ever.
Indian cricket team has produced some star players who attract lot of fans to watch them in action.

i guess its has become the national game for india. Well if india keeps on improving in other fields of sports as well then we will obviously have different choices rather than cricket only.

Their is a very much supporter of cricket in India because this is the only game in which our gouverment can support much more than other games and in this game gouverment can give inough money to the player not like other games like hockey,football,tennis etc.So therefore people can come to play this game more than other games.Now in present days cricket is used for players for earning money like they do adds and many more things.

Its a beautiful sport. Even if u watch it u will enjoy it. I never liked cricket. But i just watched it once and it caught my attention. Since then I try to watch cricket whenever it is possible.

think that all the children love cricket as they see it on the tv and the grounds available.
I dont think we hav enough grounds for football,golf etc. which are easily available 2 people and even there are more coaching centres for cricket compared to other games.

basically its because we have always followed English people in what ever field applicable example we were never tea drinkers it was actually brought here by east Indian company and now we have adopted it as one of our own customs same is the story with cricket.
