He was only in Oakland 2 years. I think he should have been given more time. What do you think?

Shell completely lost that team...They could expect another year like the last one if he came back.
Shell deserved it...Watch what happens now...Will he get another NFL Head Coaching job?

Davis fired Shell because that is what he should have done!

He was only in Oakland for one year. But he got fired because of his inability to win. He was fired the first time for a reason. Coaches like Belicheck and Dungy know how to create team chemistry. Shell could not do this. The worst move the Raiders have ever made was the signing of Aaron Brooks. He kills them. Their secondary is #1 in the NFL but that offense couldnt carry the 85 Bears to the dance

He was only in Oakland for one year. I think that 2-14 record is one of the reasons he was fired...but that's just me.

Shell was only in Oakland for 1 season, not two. I think he was fired because of the disasterous job he did in:
1) choosing his offensive coordinator
2) handling Randy Moss
3) handling his feud with Jerry Porter

I agree with whoever just said that AL DAVIS SHOULD FIRE HIMSELF!! Art needed to go...he just couldn't stay on top of anything this season....Moss is Next!

its his second time in oakland...he's a bit out of touch with coaching schemes,but with the talent he had...he should have got another year

there are a lot of problems with Oakland....Shell is just one of them...more will get traded or let go very soon.
